You may feel overwhelmed at having to decide about your unexpected pregnancy. It’s not an easy choice, but maybe you know you don’t want another abortion. This leaves you with two other pregnancy options: making an adoption plan and parenting.

You don’t have to make this significant decision alone. Our compassionate team is here to inform and support you in your decision.

Abortion Is Not Your Only Option

Again, abortion is not the only option for your pregnancy. Do you have someone pressuring you into an abortion from a partner, friend, or family member? No one should force you to decide; you have the final say.

If your partner is abusive, verbally or physically, you deserve support. Help is available 24/7 from the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Advocates can connect you to your needed resources. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

Learn About Adoption

Adoption is an excellent option if your life circumstances are not quite ready for a child. Motherhood looks different for every woman. It’s a great way to give your child a hopeful future.

You have more than one adoption option, as you can choose from these three adoption plans:

  • Open Adoption: You and the adoptive family create a plan and agree on how involved you will be. You can build a relationship with your child and stay in contact regularly.
  • Semi-Open Adoption: All communication is done by a third party for you, so you can decide how much contact you participate in.
  • Closed Adoption: You, as the birth mother, remain completely anonymous, and the courts seal all identifying records.

In addition to choosing an adoption plan, you can also select the potential adoptive parents who will raise your child. You choose the future you want for them.

Often, there is financial assistance for many pregnancy-related expenses. Your medical and legal costs are covered, and there may be help for rent, food, and more.

Contact us, and one of our caring client advocates can sit down with you to discuss making an adoption plan. We offer referrals to reputable agencies and adoption specialists.

Consider Parenting

This may seem like the most difficult choice, but you are stronger than you know. There are so many parenting resources and support out there.
